So I built my gaming pc and I found that my old monitor wasn't good for gaming. What would be a good affordable 27" gaming monitor for this gaming pc??

I use a flight sim. SOme FPS. I also play star citizen which I don't know how to categorise.

pixio px277 144hz 1440p ips monitor is great value, you can get it for around $400 USD

1060 would do alright with an overclock in 1440p, but only pushing out 60fps. a 1060 definitely cant do 144

 

[edit] also $400 USD isnt affordable. thats like $600 AUD

Well the lowest I'd go for 27 inch monitors is the pixio px274 which is around $300, anything lower than that is a 1080p monitor, so IMO I'd rather go for either 1440p 25 inch or 1080p 23-24 inch

Yeah. My maximum budget for a monitor is a maximum of $200. I can't spend any more because then its just too expensive.

for 27" i recommend 1440p for pixel density. 1080 on 27" will start to have visible pixels. unless you want the 27"

In that case, DO NOT go for a 27" monitor, they cost waay too much. I'd go for a 23-24" like a ASUS VS238H-P or AOC i2481FXH
