My friend has an xps 13 that has an i7 6560u that has Intel iris pro graphics 540. But every time he opens overwatch it loads and plays for a while but crashes when his laptop gets really hot and crashes the game. pls help.

thnx

Play overwatch in windowed fullscreen and keep MSI afterburner/monitoring software of your choice on top. Take a look to see if the temps are going crazy, and windows is shutting down due to temperature problems .

Want to know which mobo to get?

Choose whatever you need. Any more, you're wasting your money. Any less, and you don't get the features you need.

Only you know what you need to do with your computer, so nobody's really qualified to answer this question except for you.

Sounds like a straight overheat.

In Overwatch options turn Options->Video->Advanced->Render Scale down to 50% [or 1/2 what it currently is if more than 100%] (with same graphics options as now), or reduce graphics options.

Also set the Frame Rate Cap (same options screen) to "Custom" and the same as the screen refresh rate (which is probably 60hz).

Why did you quote me and repeat what I said?
