lmao 2 minutes :D

If you go to my profile there is a link to my YT channel where I posted in depth discussion about the build process, more than I said in my post.

Overall it's just a question of deciding what kind of flashlight you want to build. Long range, high brightness, small size, etc...

You need to pick one or two things, because one flashlight can't do everything.

Then you pick a Cree LED with the specs you want, some batteries, a driver (this requires a bunch of research to find the right one) and either make a flashlight host yourself, or buy a premade one.

Honestly long range would be cool

So you're looking at a pretty large reflector or aspheric lens.

If you want to do research and build it yourself, it might take a few weeks to figure everything out but less than $100 in parts.

You can always buy some pretty cheap long range flashlights for less than $100 if you don't want to spend tons of time researching and building.

It's not an overnight project for sure.

Could you by chance help me with a parts list?

Haha I wish, not enough time right now. :C midterms

Maybe look for a parts kit so you know everything is compatible?

You will need to have tools for soldering too.

If you come here expecting a kit for you to assemble, just go buy a normal flashlight.

You could based on what he said go look for suitable parts and come back to ask if they're suitable. No offense but do show some effort please?

The Internet is invented by cats. Why? Why else would it have so much cat videos?
