Game keeps freezing! Running on iGPU?

Vishvas Sudarshan

Hello gamers!

Note: Its a Laptop.

I downloaded Outlast II Demo yesterday, but the game freezes after about 20 seconds. I had MSI after Burner running so when I checked the graphs, I noticed my dGPU usage was 0% throughout. My iGPU usage was 100%. Why is this happening? and any solution for this?

I'm facing this issue only with Outlast II Demo.

Thanks in advance

Try playing the game while laptop is connected to a charger.

It is plugged in.

I don't think that option is available. Its a laptop. I haven't come across any such setting :(

On my gaming laptop i have to change that setting in the nvidia control panel.  I imagine cataylst control center should have a similar option.  I find its usually a issue with games that have a splash screen before the game launches.

Catalyst Center has just vanished ever since I upgraded to Windows 10.

Click the cortana button besideby our start menu and search for it. W10 is good at hiding stuff.  If its not there id re download it and during instalation make it create a shortcut on desktop.  Im sure the option your looking for is going to be in the ccc.

Didn't find it via Cortana, but found it in the Program Files folder. Yup now it works perfect!!

Thanks!
