you should try ubuntu, mint or fedora there free and are really easy to use.

Atleast if you try it and you dont like it it didnt cost you a penny.

Should I buy windows off ebay cause its only like $30 to $40 used or should I buy it new.

The ones that are $30-40 are windows 8 pro . . is windows 8 pro good or do I need a better one.its 64bit.

Thanks

Just make sure the windows is the right size for your house or it could be a big problem  ;)

If you trust the seller then go for it, bit 64 windows 8 pro is better, if the code works then you can upgrade to 8.1 when your ready, its differently worth upgrading to 8.1

It looks like its a upgrade so i can't actually buy it and have it without having windows 7 or vista or something?

And it says 32/64bit and it also says its a upgrade?????????

How the hell do you sell used software since product keys...

It's possible since it's not exactly locked to one device. However they can have manufacture keys that only work on specific manufacture or model.

If they selling a normal key for anyone to use and if they keep selling same keys to multiple people, then your going to get shafted.

Whether it's worth the risk is up to you.

I wouldn't try buying software off ebay because you never really never know who the seller is and you can't really claim anything if something goes wrong. This is you OS which is a big part of your system; I would just suggest you buy it from Microsoft or if there is a discount from a different trusted store, from there.

You can get windows keys and dl's from reddit /r/softwareswap . I got one for $20

Why was I never made aware of this? D:

Always be cautious while buying Window keys on ebay. One time I bought the support cd (not the windows CD itself to install it) and never got back my $20. Thoroughly read through the page and look at the seller's feedback. Spend a good 5 or 10 minutes just on that part.
