Can't break 200fps in Battlefront?

mao91

See system specs; 5820k + dual 970s. Still can't break 200fps on ultra settings. Figured it's a lack of scaling but looking for input.

Why does that matter? Do you have a 200hz monitor? Doesnt matter how high fps you get if your monitor can not display it.

Please quote our replys so we get a notification and can reply easily. Never cheap out on a PSU, or I will come to watch the fireworks.

Oh good. So far all I play is Battlefront and Portal 2 (and when I'm feeling nihilistic, The Stanley Parable). Fire games at me.

If I'm not mistaken, Battlefield games as well as Battlefront have a 200fps cap.

BTW, going above your monitor's refresh rate is just a waste of resources and power....

I literally don't. give. a. fuck. about wasted resources right now. I just want to see how far I can push things because I can. Because why the fuck not? If I cared that much about wasted resources I'd just use vsync.

If I cared about wasted resources I wouldn't have gotten a second 970. :P I like sexy and high FPS counts are sexy.

PS mildly trolling here. Mostly I was just wondering why Battlefront capped out at 200fps. My question was answered almost immediately. :P
