Need a game under ten that has a great single player experience and can be modded. I already played fallout. Gonna get skyrim later.

Minecraft XDDD It cost $20 tho...

 

Well... The Escapists serves a pretty fun single player experience if you ask me, and it's under $10 when it's on sale. (You can still get it for around $7 on some websites that sells cdkeys XD)  And...Yes, it can be modded... Well... Not really... You can get new maps but that's it.

 

Space Engineer should fit your requirements... Tons of mods, great singleplayer, around the price of $6...

Mafia 2 is on offer at the moment. I am enjoying the story though the graphics have aged a bit.

TRUE! I actually just replayed it the other week. Story is so great, but a little short.
