Do you guys think it would be a bad idea if i were to install Kali Linux onto my macbook pro to play around with hacking? I would probably use it on my home network for now

Are you talking like a dual-boot system? If you can do it, why not. Problem I had with getting linux on a MAC because its much more difficult to make a bootable USB due to proprietary apple stuff (man can Apple be annoying).

Dual booting can be weird unless you use Boot Camp on Macs, so I would try using a VM or Raspberry Pi instead

Might as well give it a go. Technically it would be tri-booting because I also have windows on my laptop

The club for my Cyber Security major uses it a lot, I would recommend trying it out.

Yes. Doesn't work as far as I know. Will try when I get home
