Cpu adaptive mode not working

Here are the settings. Right when i get into windows i'm at 1.4-1.5V

Oh set that Turbo Mode CPU core voltage to auto to see what you get when loaded into windows. After if it's reasonable run a stress test (cinebench) to see what voltages it rises up to.

Hmm that not normal, never seen it do something like that before, were you running a stress test or something?

Yes, Right when i got into windows it was bouncing from 1.38-1.42, I ran Intelburntest and it jumped to that.

Do not run any artificial stress tests as mentioned when on adaptive mode, only real world stress test such as cinebench.

That's an artificial stress test only and only use cinebench if your going with adaptive, nothing else.

Finally..... It's topping off at 1.36V and idles at .800V. Seems to be working now after that flash. I will do a 5+ hour stress tomorrow to check for stability. Thank you both of you for your help. @W-L @airdeano
