Dell Inspiron i7559 RAM Upgrade

I just got a Dell Inspiron 7559 and I found some spare DDR3 SODIMM Ram in my old laptop. When I opened the back it said DDR3L Only, I want to know what would happen if I were to put DDR3 into a DDR3L Slot.

It won't work.
