Optical drive

I just want some cheap optical drive to install windows and some games. I don't know if I want external odd or just internal one. Could you guys link me those odd? I have to buy sata cable so i would prefer usb odd but I don't know if those works well as the regular internal odd

Why do you need an optical drive for that?

Why can't you just install windows with a USB and download your games from the internet?

I'd just grab a cheap USB External DVD drive so you can use it with multiple computers if need be.

My current rig does not have an optical drive and all builds going forward won't have one either.

It's getting difficult to find interesting cases that even have 5.25" bays to house internal drives too.

My dad have some old games in cd that cant be found online. I tried to find them on steam but its old Korean game that is only available on cd

If they're that old, how do you know they even work on your current operating system?

My dad used to play them with windows 7 and it worked fine. And i think im going to get windows 7 so i was just looking for it

Ok, any USB cd drive will work fine, ones with higher speeds like x16, x24, etc will be faster.
