What if nvidia is going to be doing a crazy ass stunt and bundling an nvidia shield for ''free'' with every GPU above $650. WOuld you still buy an R series GFX card (R9 290X etc.) or would you rather buy an less powerfull Nvidia GPU with a ''free'' shiled.

It's a scenario not something that is going on right now ( i know nvidia is giving acc , batman -100 dollars on shield etc.)

Thanks ill take the r9-290x, if im out and about im generally doing something (im not prone to going out wondering around like a zombie) and I dont want to carry around a black lump all day because it doesnt fit in my pocket unlike my phone which is full of movies, music and even some games if I'm waiting for a train.
"but you can carry a backpack"-i can also put a gaming laptop in a backpack that will blow the pants of sheild, "but you can hook it up to your pc when you're at home", who buys a 800,1000, 3000 dollar/£/euro gaming pc and then wants to use it...with a 5 inch screen.

nvidia are doing the apple routine of creating a product that nobody needs and then telling people that they want it, "hmm do I want it?...well everyone else seems to be psyched about it and its getting some good comments, maybe ill give it a try".
same thing happened with ouya, I DO think this will stick around though (unlike ouya) and there will be a few people that will use it and praise it because (subcontiously) they have to, they spent $200 on a gameboy when they could of bought another card for sli/crossfire or got a better phone.
