I should be building out the system tomorrow, so I'm doing a bit of planning.

I'll be installing a 480mm and a 240mm radiator on the corsair 900D cooling my CPU and 1 GPU.

Was initially thinking I'll place both of them on the bottom compartment. Do you think this will be the most optimal? Or should I mount the quad on top, and dual on bottom?

Also, if mounting both on the bottom compartment, would it make sense to have the fans pull the air directly out of the bottom? I was thinking maybe have the quad push air in to the case directly into the dual rad pulling the air out.

Would appreciate some help.

Thanks! =)

fans should intake from the bottom and front and then exhaust from the top and rear.

I would go with quad bottom intake and triple top exhaust.

Well, I was gonna just go with a single 480mm, but since I have a 240mm laying around from my current setup, I'll just be using that in addition to the 480. Don't think it makes sense to get another radiator considering i'm only cooling a cpu and gpu.

No it doesn't. 2 radiators are already an overkill imo. But it looks nice so *shrugs*.

Yes I agree. But I'm just a bit worried about the 240mm one since I did have it running for 6 years.. My 480 that I had set up along with it started leaking out of nowhere..

If it starts leaking you should be able to do with the single 480mm radiator. If your GPU is too much of a heat monster for the single radiator (which I doubt) or if you've been overclocking your parts to their limits you could always get an extra radiator to replace the broken one.  So I wouldn't worry too much. In fact if you don't want to take the risk of possible leakage, testing your system with just the 480mm radiator to see if it's stable is also an option.
