Need Administrator Privileges

Hey guys, I recently built a new computer and wanted to get some of my more important files off of my other hard drive so I hooked it up inside of my computer.  But when I try to access files it asks me to grant Admin priv and when I do it says I do not have the right privs.  Any help would be appreciated thanks!,  Also I am looking on removing all the priv locks or whatever they are as there are a lot of folders I need to get to.

Yes, it unlocks a single folder at a time, and I am looking to copy them all over to my other hard drive and im looking for a way to do a mass unlock as it would take forever to do a lot of folders.

Give that a whirl (you need to do this in the command prompt as an administrator though)

I am putting C:\>icacls "I:\Users" /grant Users:(OI)(CI)F /T and it is saying this to me.

Don't put the C:\> in the beginning. The post showed the entire console output.

Alright I did that, it did like a 1000 files but all the files still have the same lock.

Don't do it in Users. Do it on the folder that's your username. Then see if you can access the folders.

icacls "I:\Users\rawrnosaures\Desktop\Desktop Holder" /grant Users:(OI)(CI)F /T  I did this and its still having the same issue.  Should I change the Grant users to my username?

Oh, yeah, you should be using the username instead of "Users"
