Broken Windows 10

I swear that my Windows 10 is broken

At first I couldn't download the anniversary update

So I contacted Microsoft support and they told me to reset my PC

I tried that, and it wouldn't let me reset it!

I tried an in place upgrade, that didn't work either!

I even downloaded the ISO and tried that, and guess what, IT DIDN'T WORK

So now I'm stuck with a broken Windows 10 and since I upgraded I don't even have a freaking product key

Has anyone else had this problem

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

 

EDIT; I forgot to mention that I went through FOUR microsoft support "specialists" and it's STILL not working

Just reinstall and as long as you're using the same hardware it should automatically activate.

I am having a similar problem. I can't get the update, and other weird things don't work..Like onedrive. I have two machines with the same problem actually. No clue what to do. I can't reformat as the drive has vital data on it.

Can't you backup said vital data?

Well no because part of the problem is with the backup. STUPID MICROSOFT their "specialist just ended the support session for me.

So I can take an ISO, put it on a flash drive, and completely reinstall W10 and have no issues?

As long as you don't change out any hardware in between, yes. Just skip the part that asks for a product key.

Windows 10 is just plain broken. Its not just you. I just did an update and it fucked my AVAST up. AVAST wouldnt run neither would Kodi. I had to do a second restart. Now things are starting to work again. Windows 10 has been broken in one form or another since it came to be. I cant wait till I graduate college so I can tell Microsoft to take their OS and Stick it. I will be moving to Linux. Im done with their broken ass updates.
