This guy sleeved his fan cables, how did he do this?

I thought you would have to break into the motor but then that plastic gets broken.

You can take off the 3 pin white connector there sleeve the cable up to the motor then heatshrink both ends 

So I spelt something wrong in my post... I don't care I don't read through what I write and I type very quickly.


Intel 3770k stock, MSI Z77A-GD65, MSI GTX 760, Corsair Vengence DDR3 1600Mhz 16Gb, Corsair RM 550W, Samsung 830 256Gb, some random hdds.

I know what sleeving is, ive done it before, i havent soldered which i think this guy has done

Very very easy to do. See he white plug with the 3 rectangle holes? Just press down on the pins in those holes while at the same time applying abit of backwards pulling pressure on the cable leading into each hole, than the cable will pop out and the plug will become separate from the 3 pins. Than simply sleeve the cable and replace the plug. Important however that you ensure you place the plugs back in the same slots they came from..this is vital :). Good luck.

Btw im sure its against the code of conduct to put a picture or gif in your signature, ask one of the mod team just in case, you dont wanna get a warning.

Oh really? cos it gives an option to add an image? Logically it would be allowed if the option exists? I read the HELP thing on profile editor..but didnt see anything about no pics in sig???
