id go with a larger like 750w evga psu for more head room for OCing and room if you wanted to add another 1070 down the road

That PSU is overpriced. See if you can get the EVGA 650W G2 at a similar price. They've had it around that at amazon in the past. Otherwise, you're going to probably want more storage, and why only a 2.5" drive? BTW, CEX sell CPUs used, but with a 2 year warranty. It's worth looking in to.

You can often get the 650W G2 for around that sort of price. That's 9.6/10 at jonnyguru.

I would say price reigns supreme as the deciding point, but RMx PSUs aren't fire hazards as claimed by @Xx_MadJack_xX, not even close.

The RMx is a fantastic PSU lol, You know EVGA has some shitty PSU's right?

I would recommend to swap that H100i for an H110i. It has dual 140m fans instead of 120 and has bigger radiator which will fit in your case. Also go for an EVGA G2 650W It's one of the best PSU's out there.

RMx is pretty high-quality but yeah @Armakar I'd get a 650W EVGA SuperNOVA G2 because it's cheaper whilst still being gold-rated

They are both good, the only notable PSU from EVGA that isn't that good that is within a similar price range of these is the EVGA G1 PSU's ( Not counting lower end PSU's such as the 430W )

ok before the entire forums gets confused i didnt mean it as it would catch fire but i said from experience that RMx PSU got hotter ive been using Evga for ages now not a single problem

650W would allow for SLI, wouldn't it? SLI but no GPU OC anyway. Or a very heavy GPU OC, but no SLI.

Depends on the GPUs, it won't be enough for SLI 390Xs, but 650W is enough for SLI 980 Tis / OC SLI 1080s

There's another one, that I can't remember the name of. It's meant to be super loud and mediocre, but it's not the G1.
