Have you checked if your GPU is supported by that driver? If it's not GCN, it's not supported

Jup, a friend of mine has similar story with an older card. Just don't update an keep using drivers that did function he says. Seems that older stuff isn't always properly supported.

Thanks for all the replies. I have rolled back but that doesn't solve the issue cause newer games reacquire the newer drivers. 

 

The gpu is supported.
