Upgrade Necessary?

So I recently purchased a Gigabyte G1 Gaming 1080 and I was wondering if I would benefit from a monitor upgrade. I currently own an Asus VG248QE (1080p,144hz) and I kinda want to upgrade. Basically, I am looking for suggestions for monitors. I was just looking through a thread and saw this monitor and it looks amazing but I dont know if there is something better for maybe cheaper. I do not really have a set budget but under $400 would be great. Note: the monitor MUST be 144hz

For $400 no. Any monitors worth upgrading to would cost more.

If you need the fast refresh rate, then no. The next upgrade starts at $700+.

Yeah, the GTX 1080 might not even keep a solid 144fps in games at 1440p.

I have sli 980ti's and unless you want to play on low/med settings, 144fps locked isn't going to happen, really 1080p for 144 is best until more powerful gpus comeout for a more reasonable price.
