Another 7950 @ $162 to run x-fire with mmy current one or should I stay put with one and wait a few years to upgrade to another single gpu card/

If you have the cash and the single is not cutting it, go crossfire.

Yeah that price is a bargain to what others have ot pay for a 7950.

While the single 7950 is powerfull, some situations it would struggle, another would totally solve those issues of not enough pushing power.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

I would go CF

Peripherals: Logitech G19 and SteelSeries Sensei RAW

Toshiba L50-A: i7 4700mq, 8gb, 1TB HDD, GT 740M 2gb

Cool. I think Ill pull the trigger on this one then. I think this will keep me satisfied for another few years at least.
