Optimize airflow for GPU

I want some tips to optimize my airflow for the GPU, if you saw my topic about safe temps, you know that my GPU is running at 95C~97C even with all the fans at full speed. CPU runs at 55C~60C.

What I have:

CPU - Intel cooler box

GPU - GTX 760 Reference design

Case - CM K280

Fans:

1x 120mm 1200RPM 45CFM

1x 120mm 2000RPM (don't know the model, so I don't know it's CFM)

My current fan setup is:

2000RPM fan - Side - Exhaust

1200RPM fan - Back - Intake (I'm pretty sure that this fan was exhausting air, but when I cleaned it up, I might have changed and didn't notice)

I can't put my current fans on the front because the cable doesn't reach the motherboard

I can buy other fans if necessary, just don't sugest expensive fans

97°C is very strange even on the reference design, I'd do this

Id make the side a intake and the rear an exaust. Also check the thermal paste on the gpu. You can also normally run the fans faster in the bios.

and maybe reverse the power supply to face up so it helps clear the hot air out of the case from below.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

I was thinking about that, I already have tested with the side as exhaust, but didn't realize the rear fan was pulling air

I know that 97C is strange, I think it's related to the thermal paste, I need to check that out

since your warranty is probably up already you could try replacing the thermal paste.

reference being blower style? If so you really want the side as an intake to blow cool air into its fan rather than it pulling air away and it using warmer air from inside the same.

Already tried that, it doesn't make any difference at all, I might try that again, since when I tested the GPU was normal
