Unraid is a game?... k?

But it depends on the specifications. If the video you watched has the same system as yours, then it's highly likely it will perform the same.

Oh.

About running Cities Skylines/Unraid: It should run perfectly well there. Probably no difference.

And about the data: If you want to move the data from the SSD to the HDD or the opposite, then it could be simple as getting a program to copy everything from the drive to the other. Or just getting File Explorer, getting all the files on the drive and copying it to the other.

For copying the data from a drive to the other there is nothing needed. You only need a file manager that's capable of moving everything to the other drive, which if you have Windows/Linux/etc., you have.

Depends on the speed of the drives. Assuming it's a normal/mid-use HDD and you have around 240 GB of data on it (not the capacity) 1-2 hours.

It looks good but you need a video card. You will want more storage than just the SSD.

A video card doesn't provide storage, other than for some stuff needed for graphics.

I thought you wanted to use this to play games. You can't use built in graphics to assign to a virtual machine.

Oh, i thought you were mentioning something else (use the storage in video cards, lol you can't do that, only da games) I don't even know much of the specs but being a i5, it's likely something like a GTX 950, which works perfectly.

You plan to make an unraid NAS and create a virtual machine on it to play games correct? You will want either want a separate SSD to dedicate to this virtual machine or partition some space on the one you chose but it is a little small.

it is also hard to tell if I should do it sicne how hard it  is to set up

unraid makes it somewhat easy, if it is your first time it might take you a day because you will be looking at youtube videos or reading documentation. I would say with unraid there is absolutely no command line needed to do what you want. Just keep in mind you have to pay for unraid.
