Video & Audio Capture Software. Suggestions.

Hello everyone!!!

 

I want to make a video using my webcam and my headset for a mic.

I want something that does both things at the same time, so I don't need to sync the video with the audio later.

Also I want a pretty simple free editor to edit my video.

 

Any suggestions are welcomed!

Try Open Broadcaster Software http://obsproject.com/

 

Simply put it's an open source version of XSplit, give it a try. 

 

Windows Movie Maker isn't terrible and does the basics well, I would recommend using it until you want to improve the production value of your content.

Case = Bitfenix Prodigy, Motherboard = P8Z77 - I Deluxe, CPU = 3570k @ 4.2GHz, RAM = 2x 8GB G-Skill Ripjaws, GPU = Sapphire 7950 Boost Edition, Storage = 256GB Samsung 840 Pro.
