PciE Splitter = performances loss ?

hello  using this kind of splitter for sli ( for like a mini itx board ) have some issue with performance ?

no, as the gpu's are still running at x8

 

Check that that board has a plx chip, sometimes they require certian servers to use.

to run SLI you need a SLI certified mobo

Go matx then, and not have to worry about a splitter, you are already going to have to build a custom case to fit the splitter in a case, itx cases won't support it.

 

And no mitx board will have Crossfire/SLI support for multiple gpus, so even if it works you will not be able to run multiple gpus in crossfire/sli.
