ShadowPlay FPS

Does ShadowPlay impact your performance when recording or streaming. Planning to play some heavy titles with my 760. I know it will hard to get 30 fps with some games I plant to get (based on benchmarks) and whether fps will drop with ShadowPlay

Less than 10% performance impact for me, really depends on the game you play.

The problem is the game is insanely expensive for me (ME Catalyst) and I was wondering if it is worth it. I want to record it or maybe wait until i get 470

So you're debating about buying a game based on if you can stream it or not?

Shouldn't you buy a game based on whether you like playing it?

The ONLY time I notice a difference, is recording above (Using DSR) 1440p 60fps, and I may lose 1-5fps, and I'll lose about 5-10fps Rec in 4K.

Usually, 0-2fps loss at most for 1080p/60 recordings onto my aging mech-hdd.

 

But.. I can't stream, cos Australia's Internet situation is a joke, has been a joke for quite some time... and will be for years.

Well if you get a rx 470 nvidia shadowplay won't be an option.

Hmm. Good point. I like the game but if it is too expensive for me might try wait and get it alternative way. And is g2a a safe place to buy games?

I was obviously reffering to GTX 470. Oh wait it doesn't have shadowplay either lol.

 

Well I have alternative ways like Bandicam, Action, Fraps and OBS. But gonna record shadowplay from now.

Why would you switch to a gtx 470? Your current gtx 760 is much faster than a gtx 470.
