What are peopled opinions about ibuypower, they seem to be able to build a computer for a low build premium. So I wanna know how people feel about them.

iBuyPower is a company that will happily sell you a bad rig with bad wiring and airflow and pretend that they did nothing wrong. Their quality is low and their employees are bad at building computers. There's a reason you can find them in Best Buys and Wal-Marts and it's not because they're great at business. It's because they can turn out cheap products in bulk to the masses.

My 3 friends who have ibuypowers have all regretted it and every single one wishes they built their own pc. From working on them, They are generally small, and compacted, all using GPUs with reference coolers  short PCB blower-style coolers(can make putting in a new GPU kinda hard if there isn't clearance). Cases usually consist of a lot of plastic and flimsy metal, which I dislike and so do my friends who all want to move their PCs to new cases. For the premium you pay to have it all built, it isn't so bad, but building your own PC using something like pcartpicker is still way more effective and not hard.

Gaming - Ryzen 9800X3D | 64GB 6400mhz cl30 9070 XT

Homelab - many servers...constantly changing.

3970X/256GB - 5950X/128GB ECC - 5600G/96GB - 3400GE/16GB - 3400GE/16GB

He's right, it's more affordable to get ncix to build it for you or build it yourself
