Howdy,

I wanted to check out Linux Mint but I'm having some issues booting it through VMware.

As far as I can tell, OracleBox is booting from the USB correctly and I get the error BOOTMGR is missing press CNTL+ALT+DEL to restart at start-up. I made the USB a live disk with unetbootin with the Linux Mint ISO on my flash drive. (I'm guessing this is the step I did incorrectly.)

I'm using Oracle VM Virtual Box Manager to boot from USB. I tricked OracleBox to use the USB as the HDD for the system using the following commands in command prompt:

cd %programfiles%\Oracle\VirtualBox

and then

VBoxManage internalcommands createrawvmdk -filename D:\usb.vmdk -rawdisk \\.\PhysicalDrive2 , drive number being the USB drive in my laptop.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance guy! =)
