Computer randomly shuts off and restarts.

My friend is having an issue where after his computer turns on and he opens a program like a minute or two later the pc shuts down and restarts.

We think it's his power supply, but would like some extra help

reset bios, and install a antivirus program, if it still occures, its probably the psu i think

Does it turn off when he doesn't open up programs?

He said it stays on when nothing gets opened.
