Motherboard: Dell/Foxconn G33M02

PSU: Antec Earthwatts 430W

Graphics Card: Sapphire Radeon HD 5770 (Current), HIS iCooler Radeon HD 7750 (Negotiating Price)

Case: Dell Inspiron 530 Case

 

Yes, I know it's a potato, but it's my first build and the total cost was $37. Can't really complain for that price.

to be honest it *is* one hell of a potato build.

 

then again, for less than the price of a raspberry pi, probably with a decent chunk of extra performance over a raspberry pi... it's a hard to beat concept

(i *do* have a "zero cost" build, but at the moment it can barely drive a display, and with AGP graphics cards being a rare find it's likely to stay like that for a while)

It isn't really a potato pc. My older pc's are real potato's XD. I now have a Core 2 duo E8400 with 4gb RAM and i bought a gtx 750 ti. i got the pc form a friend of mine and bought the 750 ti myself. And i don't want to be like, ow you guys are mocking about great pc's. no, i just wanted to say that i know how "fast" a pc can be even though it is quiet old. For me my pc is fast because i can play games with more than 10 fps XD. so good luck with your pc build!! and have fun with it

It's decent for gaming and for normal people is ok. Throw an SSD and you've quite a nice box

I've a friend who has the best PC in his house and it's an athlon 64 3200+...

Have fun with the build,  maybe overclock it a bit:p that's where the fun starts.  I love getting the most out of budget builds,  dare I say it's much more satisfying
