I (unwillingly) surrendered Banzai to my wife, and now she wants a KVM switch to use two PCs at once. She doesn't need monitor input, as she's intending to use a monitor for each computer separately, but she doesn't want two keyboards and two mice on her desk. Are there any options out there on the cheap that would let her use a single keyboard and mouse and switch which computer they send input to on the fly?

I use one of these does the job.

look at a usb switch i have one on my desk at work, i have a usb hub pluged in to one side with keyboard and mouse and then 2 usb cable come of the box one goes to pc and one goes to a spare cable i  use to plug in to a laptop for when ever im doing testing or fixing a laptop,

it cost me about £5

it require no additinal power

this one dosnt come with cables so you would need to buy a usb hub or a 2 usb in to 1 usb adapter and then 2 x usb a to usb b wires.
