Would it be useful to buy used processors for cheaper like the 6700k?

They will be cheaper then buying new, but when kabylake hits people, and places  may want to get rid of there 6700ks so there might be a chance of a price decrease, but not too likely.

I wouldn't buy a used K CPU. Locked SKUs such as a used 4770, sure. But a K one, I wouldn't trust as much - Lord Voldemort knows what voltage the guy put the CPU through...

Still, good luck finding a used 6700k. People don't usually sell what's arguably the best CPU on the market right now (depending on the use case).

I personally bought a used 3770K for just a little bit less than €180 over a year ago. The little guy works perfectly, it overclocks to 4.8GHz and it hold its ground very well.

As long as you come across that one great deal you should always go for it (unless the seller is really shady).

Someone once said: "Having a rollercoaster on a PC would be epic"

So threw a rollercoaster on my K'nex PC: Project Dragon Khan- K'nex rollercoaster PC build

Well this guy said that he did not ever try overclocking it, and he has 100% positive reviews on 210 sales.
