RX 480 vs GTX 1080

The RX 480 and GTX 1080 have a huge difference in performance.

 

If you're buying a video card and you have a second-gen i5 system or better, I'd say get the GTX 1080. If you're buying a new system and you're not sure what video card to get... I'd still say the GTX 1080.

Personally I think the i3 6300 is a mistake, especially if you're considering a GTX 1080!

Get a i5 6600K and a GTX 1070. Lower cost in total, better worse case performance (i.e. when CPU bound)

I'd get a better CPU and a 1060 6GB for now. I'd also get rid of the Intel 750 since the performance gains as a boot drive aren't many. Get a SP550 or MX300 +240GB and a 1TB HDD.

You will bottleneck a gtx 1080 really bad with an i3-6300 I would recommend at least an i5-6400 or better
