It's not a common thing... I'm learning about them at 16, for my A-Level course.

Well, let's just say that I learned about the different endoplasmic reticulum and the Golgi stuff last year, I think that your school is quite good. Although you probably won't strictly need to know about it now, it's useful for future reference.

But since Biology isn't really very explanatory, it's all useless anyways :P
