Hello,

I am helping my brother make a new computer we don't really have a budget set but don't want to spend more then £1800 my brother came in a bit cheeper then me but i think this is a better computer for the money he mainly plays League of legends and CSGO.

He then makes the argument that the i7 and the 1070 are not worth the money as the equal i5 and AMD 480 with a price difference. We also chose different monitors as i thought he would be gaming at 1440p but he chose a 1080p monitor for the best performance for the 480.

I put it to you to see if anyone could help settle this argument or even come up with something better.

Its just for him and he only plays mainly LOL and CSGO he says he want to play more AAA but i don't know if he would bother. I showed him the performance difference with both the CPU and the GPU but he can see the price justification.

with a rx480/gtx1060 he will rock 200fps on both game on ultra EASY. I rock 150fps with r9 280 on LOL. so wuts point of 1070? and I notice you guys dont even know the resolution/refresh rate to game on. you have to decide tat to choose gpu, since the two i mentioned may not handle AAA in 1440p.

And i7? if he dont do video editing or other staff tat need more cores, then IT IS a waste of money over i5 imo.
