Hi, today i finished building my new PC and after booting into windows after about a minute all open processes freeze and close itself. Then after few seconds I get a blue screen of death. Tried installing windows 8 instead thinking something was wrong with the os although win8 just randomly freezes after the boot.

Part List:

i3 4130

Gigabyte Z87M-D3H

Corsair Vengeance 1600Mhz 8GB

Asus HD 6770

WD Caviar Green 1TB

Corsair CX500

I've run Windows Memory Diagnostic which returned no errors.

Try using one stick of RAM only, your problem might be caused by a bad RAM stick. Check all of the PSU cables connected to both the motherboard and graphics card, it's not a bad idea to refit them in their proper places. Take a look at the CPU fan, is it connected to the corresponding fan header on the motherboard or not.

Might be the HDD.

Try a bios update or try changing the SATA port. IDK
