It's got some fun mechanics, but only really comes to its right in coop. Plays sort of like Far Cry 3/4, but with zombies.

It really depends if you're a fan of zombie games or not. If you are and you're looking to play this game solo, you'll also have a bad time. There are some caveats I have with the game such as losing XP upon death, (You can even de-level from this :/) being out during night gives you more XP to level up and spend points to git gud, but it is brutally hard at a beginner level. I'm about level 15 or so and I still can't handle it well by myself.

TL;DR it's fun but only with friends, level up survivor rank quickly to get a much needed item for traversal, don't bother doing missions at night until you are a much higher level.

Spares you the cringe-fest that is the "story" and its "characters", you lucky man.

Meh, story is the least of my issues in games. Far cry 3 is one of my fave games and the story is ass. The game just has really good mechanics and is fun to play. Dying light looks like far cry with zombies and better crafting so I really want to play it. The fov fixes I've seen break your arms from your model and that is too immersion breaking for me.

It's a great game imo, I had a lot of fun enjoying the story and just running around killing zombies and unlocking abilities.

Whats up with the fov? It can be adjusted in game, or does it not go high enough for you maybe?

The max fov is below what the minimum should be. Iirc, the max is below 80 and I prefer at least 90 and if possible 110. The game just feels cramped

Which can easily be changed in the dying light level file.

Imo its def worth it. I don't often finish single player games .Dying light kept me entertained.Even if it is mindless zombie killing. Its by far one of the best zombie games. Now only if they made  a mode more like gta multiplayer.

You shouldn't have any problems with fps, though the view distance setting tanks the framerate and honesty doesn't make much of a difference when cranked up.
I play at 1440p max settings (apart from view distance) and fps ranges from 80-120 fps depending on where I am.

I would say so yes. I've never used SLI before though, not sure how well it works in this game either, my guess is it should be fine though.

When i first heard my friend mention that he really liked this game i got so happy because i had heard about it and really wanted it. So the first thing i did when i got enough money was to buy the game for both of us, we installed it, and opened it. And then it all began! I had mixed up the names and all the times he was talking about what i thought was dying light, he was actually saying "Dead by daylight" which was the game i bought for us... So he got really happy and i got really disappointed.

This was 2 months ago and im still saving up for Dying Light
