PC keeps turning off

My system is using a total of 510 watts and I have a CX600 power supply. Could this be the issue?

What are your system specs? I can basically guarantee that you aren't using 510 watts.

So your 280X is rather hot and the CX600 has a system implemented that makes it restart itself when it gets too hot. I'd try getting a different PSU and seeing if that solves the problem. An EVGA 650GQ or 750B2 should work fine. Less wattage would also be acceptable. Your system likely uses less than 300W under load.

PSU calculators are for the most part, unreliable. If you really want to find out, use a power meter.

GPU at load: 65C

I get like 5 seconds into the benchmark and then my computer shuts down (Heaven benchmark)

Theirs is the worst, but I can absolutely promise your system isn't using more than a heavily over clocked 3960X and two 980tis in SLI my friend. Those in tandem require about 600W.

Psu came like almost 2 years ago and it only turns off when im gaming or running a benchmark

Sounds like a faulty psu in that case. Have you tried contacting Corsair for a replacement? If that doesn't work or isn't an option, you could get a new psu.

Is there anything modular? Also im OCing so im not sure if bronze is ok for it.
