Finally announced, but no specs yet apart from the basic PR stuff in the video including the rumoured fingerprint scanner. They haven't even updated the AU or US websites yet it seems. Guess I'll have more to add soon.

Intel i7 3770k, Maximus V Formula, 32GB G.Skill 1600MHz RAM, ASUS DCUII GTX 670

actually there is a press release statment already released, and ePrice, the Taiwanese media which posted several leaks of the One Max had already posted a hands on article of this phone. And these confirmed several things:

a.) it used the same processor as the ONE

b.) wiredly no OIS.....

c.)metal framework, but not the unibody design as the One and iPhone...

d.)no beats audio....

the hands on article(in chinese)

I'm excited to see new stuff coming out, but that doesn't seem like a very good first announcement video. Surely they are bringing more to the table than a fingerprint scanner...right?

I've been really disappointed with HTCs marketing in the past year from what I've followed. I'm certain it's related to their poor performance to some extent.

It seems as though the phone is a little lackluster really, they had the opportunity to make it a Note-3-but-better phone but apparently haven't.

the phone apparently has a 3300mA battery otherwise running very similar specs to the one. Not sure how well this will compete with the note 3

Isn't the Beats branding just an EQ setting?

Spoiler
