Explain Vessel please?

So I know LinusTechTips is on vessel and it's sort of a website like youtube but do you have to have a youtube account to upload videos to it, just wondering, Thanks

From my understanding, you got to get Vessel to bribe you to upload videos to it's platform...not any randomer can just upload videos to it...(I might be wrong but all I know is vessel is giving LTT and Hardware Canucks just that little extra dough which is always nice for the content creators )

It is completely different to YT and LTT use it to have videos released 1 week early than YT it also pays LTT when people sign up for an account

vessel is subscription based and runs no ads, for that you get videos a week early and completely ad/sponsor free

You can watch the videos add free 7 days early

ou need to be content creator of good viewer base in order to get in. Its subscription based ($3/mo or $20/y) and content creator gets paid for all the views on videos within 7 days preview period before video is released on YT and other platforms. You don't have to pay, all LTT videos are free after 7 days period. And they don't have exclusives to only Vessel.

 

If you have heard about Nerd Sports, thats different thing. It was Vessels paid production which LMG did. So its not LTT/CSF content but Vessels own show. Much like how Netflix has own shows.
