wifi card upgrade

Hello Forumers,

 

Im planning to upgrade the wifi card (some Intel Centrino N) in my Razer Edge, to Intel AC7260. My question would be: shall I uninstall the driver in Device Manager before I take the old card out? Thank you very much in advance!!!

thanks. I thought the same, but a confirmation from someone else is reassuring. My only worry was, whether windows will recognise it without internet connection.

After you have uninstalled the device and installed the new one, it should work after you install the drivers for your new networks card.
