nvidia driver install problems

i downloaded the battlefield 1 beta and when i opened it it said i couldnt play it as my drivers were out dated, so i tryed to download the lastest driver(something like 372.70) and i failed to instll so i tried doing clean installs and it didnt work so i went to the nvidia website and downloaded 372.54 and im still getting the same problems. does anyone know how to solve this
