screen doesnt fit propperly, please help

i have the problem of my screen not fitting propperly. when on  the intel hd530 drivers i would rescale the aspect ratio but now with the AMD software i don't know how to fix that issue. please help. thanks

What monitor and what cable do you use?

it is an old logik tv that is 1080p 16:9 and i use a hdmi cable

Can you get the model number off the back?

Is there a button for auto adjustment?

out of the time i have owned the tv i havent noticed an auto adjustment button amd the model number is :l22dvdb10

Unfortunately HDMI doesn't support 1080p on this monitor.

Haven't used an AMD card in a long time so my usefulness may be lacking.

Can you open Catalyst?

If you just want to adjust the scaling...right click and open Radeon Settings>Display>GPU scaling...turn on and select desired scaling mode.

gpu scaling for me only has two stages. on or off. no adjustmen. no drop down box or anything

That causing issues with other programs.

Can you show him/her how to put the resolution to 1080i?

you have lost me now. remind me, what is catalyst i am not sure. and are you sure that my tv can't do 1080p over hdmi because whenit turns on it tells me it is running 1080p 60hz in the top right of my screen

the model number in the url of the mannuel you linked is L19digb10, where as the model number for my tv was l22dvdb10 like i said

What version of crimson are you using?

 

It doesn't have the Scaling Mode tab to the right of it?

It's the same manual for both models. Same thing happens with many LG monitors.

If you see the asterisk below the chart it states that the monitor will scale the image. Do you have any settings to change the pitch in the monitor's menu?

no there is no pitch. but there is h and v position. but it oly moves the whole thing up and down or left to right. instead of scaling the screen
