Can't lock my FN key, tried everything.

Gravemind

Got a new keyboard (redragon Karura, no specific drivers available) for my new system (Windows 7 64bit), and it has multimedia keys on the F1-F12 keys like a lot of keyboards, but I can't get the FN lock to work.

There was no setting for it in the BIOS, nothing in the Control Panel to help, and the keyboard's built-in FN+F11 to lock the FN key doesn't work, it just turns them off entirely. I've also tried holding the FN key for like 10-20 seconds, tried it with other keys and it just won't lock the damn multimedia keys.

Anybody got any ideas? I've done everything I can think of.

I would just deal with it, but the FN key is in such an awkward position and having to hold it down and another key just to bump my volume up or down is ludicrous.

I won't know you're talking to me unless you reply/quote me.

On the surface I think the FN lock is FN + capslock. Worth a shot.
