Looking for 2 1TB+ SSDs to Run in RAID 0

Exprima

Hey guys. I'm looking to buy 2 high capacity to run in RAID 0 for a rig I'm looking to build. What would your recommendations be? I'm looking for drives ideally below $300 each per 1TB.

Right now I'm choosing between these drives...

Intel 540s

Crucial MX300

SanDisk X400

Ryzen 5 3600 | EVGA CLC240 | EVGA RTX 2070 Super XC Ultra | ASRock B450 Pro4 | 16gb EVGA SuperSC DDR4-3200 | 1tb WD SN550 | 2tb SanDisk Ultra 3DEVGA P2 650w | Fractal Design Meshify CViewSonic VX2758-2KP-MHD + ViewSonic VS2412-H | GHS.RAR (Boba U4s, Staebies, GMK Aurora Polaris + Artisans) | Steelseries Aerox Ghost | Artisan-Japan Ninja FX Hien (M/Soft) | Fostex HP-A3 | Fostex PM0.3G | Fostex T60RP | Beyerdynamic DT 1990 Pro | Beyerdynamic FOX

you realize the 540 is an m.2 drive right?

i would recommend that crucial drive over it, or this https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Ultra-2-5-Inch-Height-SDSSDHII-960G-G25/dp/B00M8ABHVQ/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1472423945&sr=1-1&keywords=sandisk+960gb+ssd drive instead

I meant to link the SATA version, mb. Fixed.

What's the difference between the Ultra 2 and X400 from SanDisk?

The X400 is cheaper, tho? Is it worth the price difference?

Looking to build ITX so no NVME slots. Also not a fan of Samsung.

Not like I'm gonna have sensitive data that can't be backed up. I want them speeds.

Some ITX boards have M.2. I'd suggest getting two SanDisk X400's

Yeah from the looks of it the X400s seem to provide the best value.

yeah, but as i said before, the 960gb ones have a greater consistancy between drives. so most of them run exactly like the say in all tests.
