Immediately apologize for my bad English.

-Currently I don't have job, so I'm not really in the money. I want to upgrade my old PC with something little bit more to today's standards.

Currently i have: CPU: -Intel Pentium G630

                           Mobo: - Gigabyte  GA-H61M-HD2

                           GPU: -Sapphire Radeon HD4870 512mb DDR5 256bit DX10.1

                           RAM: -Kingston 4GB 1600MHz

                           HDD: 160GB Samsung

PSU: Shame on me but i don't really remember. I know it's 430W

-I think this is all you need to know.

-I am interested into buying i5 3470 and GTX 670/770. I hope you have some advices for me. I don't know which PSU should i buy

and is this good for these days. Like i said on beggining, this is only temporarily build.

And yeah, i am going to buy "not new" components.

1.Add another 4gb of ram (must)

2.Get a better GPU (HD 7970,GTX 680,GTX 770)

3.Get a better CPU (i5 2500/2500k/i7 2600/2600k/i7 2700/2700k) Highly would recommend trying to pick up a cheap i7 2600/2600k since a i5 2500/2500k is gonna go dead sooner or later

4.Get a better PSU @Energycore will help with that (Can't tag fucking STRM because ltt is buggy with tags af)

Another ram for sure, Planned buy was Gtx 770 and cpu was i5 3470. Now, I am not sure about my motherboard... I heard commend that my Mobo isn't compatibile with PCIE 3.0, but as much as i know, my GPU is PCIE, i am so confused... That's why i am posting this post. About PSU,CPU and GPU.

That's is false, your motherboard supports PCIE Gen 3.0 x16 which is more than enough

1 x PCI Express x16 slot, running at x16
(The PCI Express x16 slot conforms to PCI Express 3.0 standard.)

Yeah, also it says it supports second and third generation of processors but again i heard some bullshit that it supports on second generation... Can you say is i5 3470 good choice? Also, i saw some benchmarks of one guy that has LC Power 600W psu which is shitty and no1 recommends it but he ran GTX 980ti on it without any problems... Is that okay to pair with 770?

Any used i5 that's compatible will do you just fine and they've been selling for $60-80 on ebay

For $100, an RX 460 will give you good framerates in 1080p

Now for the PSU, I would love to know the model or at least a photo of it so I can tell you whether you'll want an upgrade.

If you can spare $40 once it's all said and done, get a 120GB SSD, it's one of the best upgrades you can get :)

And another 4GB RAM.

So to summarize the priorities: CPU - RAM - GPU - SSD (PSU depending on which one you've got. If it's a CX430 you're fine)

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here
