Not worth it. The i7 4790K is still a beast of a processor and I don't plan on changing mine out for maybe a couple of years.

hay guyz i got a deal on 4790k and i want upgrade my fx 8350 should i sell the 4790k  and get 6700k or stay with it

Keep the 4790K

How much of a deal, if it's good I'll probably say 4790k since it's only a 3-8% difference

If you got an I7 6700K you will need new ram and a new motherboard.

What do you use your computer for? How much cheaper can you get the 4790k? The 4790k has two more threads, but has a slower single core speed. If for gaming and light editing, 6700k. If doing heavier editing and CPU intensive workloads, 4790k. Although, if you get the 4790k, you can save money on the ram as you can just reuse it.

i sold my 380 and got a 4790k in hands
