Overall I am looking for a consistent graphics cards and I try to keep things very minimal. Problem is the voltage fluctuations and the ambient room temp in India. I need a GPU with good quality components. It's people like you @PCGuy_5960, who are last resorts for me. :) Does a difference between DX11 & DX12 matter that much? I will be primarily editing the photographs, small 3D diagrams and VERY lower settings detail enjoying of AC Syndicate.

This was the post where I conveyed the problems-

CUDA acceleration is usually more helpful and more widely supported... SO it should help with your editing...

DX11 and DX12 affect gaming and only gaming...

Get the 950...

Thanking you for your 'kind and gentle' introduction to this thread.

you're welcome,

I'm sorry for your loss

but nobody can really help you with "am I applying enough force on this plastic thing?" because we don't know how much force are you already applying and in which direction

so... I can either say no, you should push harder - then you might brake it and be very upset and somewhat frustrated at me, or you might be fine

or I can say yea, and you just keep wiggling it and eventually it'll come off

@Anirban If that doesn't work, then take drastic measures and cut the metal retention bracket with a dremel...

Okay then but their R9 Fury was good right? o3o

Seems like the Fury Strix was also a bad card according to Newegg reviews, but some review sites say otherwise.

Gentlemen and women, this query is for my friend. He wants to buy a RX 460. Though I had told him to get 950 because we are revamping together but stubborn he's. Wants a 460 for DX12.. Suggestions needed.

Which one is better with good components and cooling? Sapphire Nitro 460 or ASUS Strix 460?
