If you are looking forward, get the rx480 (so that you can flip it and get an rx490 when they release), if you are looking at the now, get the 1060. Period.

Sorry

It's all up to you whether extra money worth it with 5-10fps increase

There have been a review of a custom RX480 beating a MSI 1060 gaming X...of course they were either games that runs better on AMD cards or DX12/Vulkan games but still, the RX480 can beat the 1060 in some games, it's just the 1060 beats the RX480 is most DX11 games :P

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

It also beats in dx12 titles, vulkan is still amd land but for dx12 it comes down to whether the developer optimized for red or green

480 is fine though op, so long as it isn't reference

I thought it was more whether the games was made for DX12 in the first place or not...like rise of the tomb raider, apparently it's half baked and  only integrated DX12 when it was almost completed or something :P

Still at the moment, more low level API based games favor AMD :D
