Poor man's graphic card

What's the best graphics card for around 100$ (can stretch up a bit)

 

System is for a non gamer, who sometimes like to play some games like the sims, or alice madness returns. No need for super high fps in ultra, game must be playable with low settings though. Cpu is a FX-6300.

 

I was thinking of a 7770, but new gens amd are coming. What to get?

260x maybe or the standard 260 at any rate its pretty pointless or not get the next gen.

Unless the price of the 7000 series is cheaper, as they are exactly the same cards.

The 7850 have being droping to 120-130 if you can go up to that price pick up one

If you don't want a warranty could risk getting a second hand one from a friend who's upgrading

Thanks everyone, I checked 7790 and 7850 benchmarks.

I'll go with the 7790, otherwise I'd have to change the PSU, plus for a non gamer the price difference isn't really worth it.

For some reason i cant quote right now, the 260x supports the fancy new audio stuff, i know not everyone cares but it seems like i nice thing to have, i doubt it will cause problems.

650ti Boost if you can get one at a good price or 7790/7850.
