I have decided it is time to upgrade my PC and I have banked on a pretty beefy GTX 1060 and a nice i5 6600k. I am going to buy EVGA's after market version. This has left me wandering what mobo I should get. I want it to be Z170 type and  to be compatible with DDR4. Currently I am thinking this https://www.amazon.ca/ASRock-Z170M-PRO4S-USB3-0X8-Motherboard/dp/B012D7G26I/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1471294941&sr=8-1&keywords=asrock+z170

As it is a good price and will support everything. I don't want to spend more than $200 CAD dollars. Also if anyone had any suggestions on good ram to go with this that would be great.

Thanks,

Sorry not an expert by form factor do you mean what sort of tier? Like good, normal ect...

What size is the case you're putting it in, they tell you waht size motherboard(s) will fit, eg itx/mATX/ATX/EATX

What do you think about the second one I posted those ones are a bit higher than I would like the 1st one is ok though

The second one is one of my most disliked mobo's ever, for just more you can get better, its skinny, does not offer as much features and is ugly af

But don't get me mistaken there's nothing wrong with it and if you wan't to save money and don't care about looks and just need a Z170 and a couple ports it's decent

Well my current case doesn't even have windows, so it should be fine. I think I will go for it as I need to save money. I am also going to get ddr4 ram 16gigs. Do you know what the best type is? Max I will spend is $100 give or take
